Direct-fit (no gasket)
- Best for: coins with standard diameters where a snug display is desired.
- Look: clean “glass” edge with minimal visual interruption.
- Watch for: high rims or proofs can be harder to close—consider a looser size.
Ring capsules (with gasket)
- Best for: small diameter variation, safer closure, rim cushioning.
- Look: thin black/white ring around the coin; slightly less “crystal” edge.
- Tip: pick a ring with inner mm equal to your coin’s diameter.
Decision guide
- Display perfection? direct-fit exact mm.
